Telemecanique's origins date back to 1924, producing products such as sensors, switches and signalling equipment for

the industrial, infrastructure and building sectors, and it was acquired by Schneider in 1988.

such as oil, gas and nuclear power, and is also study ing a potential sale of its Eurotherm unit, which provides products for

industrial thermal systems, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Eurotherm from Schneider

Electric. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
